There was a decent looking Uracco on there a few weeks back. I almost tossed some money at it. Not a big fan of Copart though.
Whats the story with Copart ? do you have to be a dealer to bid ? is there a reserve? ,does your bid stay there + then the car goes to a auction to be auctioned off in person? so if no body else bids you win the car? i am confused .
I've never bought from them, I just window shop their site. See http://www.copart.com/c2/how_to_bid_auctions_online.html
You dont have to be a dealer but you do need an agent to bid for you. Most expect you to leave a deposit with them usually 10% of what you plan on spending. I have a dealer account on there though. I can bid as much as I want
I wish I could get a hand on one of thos callisto's, would like to have one just for fun. Need to find one in Europe though.

I see the 1994 Diablo with fire damage is now for sale on Ebay. The seller's opening bid price is at $42K: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.m748&item=200652314052&viewitem=&_trkparms=clkid%3D2757708880465660050
What's wrong with this Diablo? It says front end damage. The front end looks perfectly fine in the pics. Maybe damaged underneath? Suspension damage? Does anyone know the history on this car?
I'm assuming the pic below shows the damage, but I don't know for certain. Caveat emptor. Image Unavailable, Please Login
.........................................................................I think the seller in this ebay ad just bought the car from Copart , he uses the insurance photos from the copart ad usally , + thats the way it is , you buy from the photos they don`t let you in too see it , but they mention they do let a certain group of people in to photograph or inspect it , which is new to me . I bought my Diablo from this seller , he was very helpful . it was a smooth transaction.
I thought that seller's name looked familiar: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=295977&highlight=murcielago8898&page=2 IIRC he is in the Baton Rouge area? Good to hear that it worked out for you.

Both the Gallardo and the Murcielago look in decent physical condition. The Murcie shouldn't be too tough to fix with a blocked cat. Not actual mileage, but would be a fun toy just to "play" with if you got it cheap enough. That Dubai plate is pretty cool! I'd love to have that for my garage wall!
The bumper on the Murci doesn't appear to be stock -- it looks like an extension has been added or an aftermarket bumper with a close resemblance. Possible front end damage from the past???

Here's your chance: http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch.html?_eventId=getLot&execution=e2s4&lotId=18708601 However, given the "all over" damage, this one is probably a parts car.
