question. Both of my outboard CV boots are torn. It looks like, with the headers and inner CV heatshields out, that there will be enough room to just remove the axle nut (without removing the rotor), remove the six bolts at the tranny, and remove the axle. Is that possible? Or do I still have to remove the caliper and rotor?

Yes you can! And it was very easy! Plenty of room. Just removed the axle nut and the six bolts. My wife pushed with a push pole on the brake side while I just pulled it out from the engine compartment.

While you are at it, replace the boots with high perf parts from Pegasus racing.

Jim, do you know of-hand what the bolt circle diameter is in mm?

I ordered two. Are you sure that the outboard will last? Every picture shows them inboard.

Inboard are the ones that usually go first from heat. The outers last considerably longer...but are usually replaced when the inners fail.

Well, I did them. Man what a dirty job. Pegasus inboard and OE outboard. Just what I had.
