Thor. About what I expected. Much more style over substance. Not bad, but not all that great either. Reasonably entertaining. 6/10 For some reason Natalie Portman just doesn't look like a physicist to me regardless of the dialogue. Good actress, but she can't pull it off IMO. Next up this weekend will be Your Highness, we will see if she can do comedy.

Your Highness. Years from now (or maybe tonight), James Franco and Natalie Portman will look upon this movie and think that they had to have been high to ever participate in such a piece of garbage.
I know. For some reason I wanted to give it a second try. Like spinach. I hated it as a youngster, I love it as an adult.
Apollo 18...not the best movie by far, but the first half of it was pretty good in terms of accuracy of NASA Apollo equipment. If you have no interest in NASA, probably not worth watching.
Fright Night. Unknown actors/actress, pretty much, besides Colin Farell. However, he did wel, IMO. Great effects too.
Anxiously awaiting the release of the remake of 'The Thing'. That **** freaked me out way back then so I watched it over and over again untill I could sleep, think I'm kidding don't you???
Went to see Moneyball last night, and I'll admit, it was quite good. One of the better baseball films I've seen. I recommend it
"In a Lonely Place" (1950) Humphrey Bogart, Gloria Grahame Great film noir. I don't know how I've missed seeing this until now.
Finally saw Transformers: Dark of the Moon, It was good, in a way it was the same as the other movies. Nice eye candy, with the cars, Carly and the action.
Saw the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Ok, probably the best of the 3. Why does Johnny Depp play the pirate as gay all the time? Penelope Cruz is darn hot.
X Men, First Class. Probably good if you are a 14 year old boy. A bit too over the top even for a comic book movie. I just couldn't get into it. Micheal Fasberger was excellent as usual. Kevin Bacon looked ridiculous with his idiotic helmet.
From the previews it does not look bad to me but that could also be a case of me liking (NOT loving) the series. I will be watching the Wolverine movie for the 3rd time next week but then again he is my favorite character. I will be hitting the Alamo Drafthouse next friday which is also conveniently located across the street from my neighborhood for a midnight release of the new prequel of 'The Thing' but first we will watch the original in a new 'high-definition digital print' to get the ball rolling.
Killer Elite. Very good! All 3 great actors. Great period movie with all the right cars and look. The plot is also much more than just bang bang..True Stroy. Middle Men : Very good too. How this movie didnt make more buzz is beyond me. True story about the guys who created the CC processing for the internet (Porn website) and how it went wrong when they mixed with the mafia..
