How much Kluber to rebuild a 355 flywheel

When I did mine I didn't bother to consciously put in a specific amount. I put in what I thought was right by looking at what was in there when I split it and what looked right when I was repacking. I actually weighed the tub of grease before and after out of sheer curiosity to know how much had gone in and it worked out at around 230g.

To apply the grease I used a BIG syringe (without the needle) that I got from a vet friend of mine. I think you can buy from a chemist. The advantage is that I was able to control the amount, where it went and with minimum mess.

PS. Did you get the Ford truck hub nut socket I posted about to undo the ring nut?

 

220 i suggest works best. just make sure its the original kluber. in short supply now, apparently Ferrari are buying tons of the stuff and they arent keen to split 25 kilo drums. But did manage to get 3 kilo if anyone needs any.

 

Keep meaning to amend this. From the workshop manual, the 220gm figure is for 1999 cars.
The rest 94-98 says just 150gm.
Use 200 for the 348.
