You have reached the grand age of 24 already. Well, you have the writing style of a much younger man, so please accept that as a compliment.

That's great Jon, because then I can step up and buy your Scud for $60k. Your net out-of-pocket expense for the Enzo will be zero!

Well, first you have to be 60 and have 60K car or less... Oh never challange Jeffery. But I can say that I had him worried for a second when we had our match. :)

Haig, I will be tapped out after $60K. $4K is 3 months worth of Social Security checks for me. I don't think I can swing that much. Please spot me brother.

Sound like a good idea. I have an early bird discount dinner coupon I can throw into the deal. And I have all the Golden Girls episodes recorded on Betamax. He might want those too. (Yawn) 2-hours past my bedtime now. Nighty night and have fun at your old folks party tomorrow. Say hi to Al, Rick and Mickey for me.

I know what you're talking about. Just the other day I saw this video about a 16M on a site and some guy got a hardon about seamen because of it. He seemed really rude and immature. Go figure.

Listen, here's the scoop: no one is taking you seriously as "Young money 430 owner with a 458 on order" because practically all the Socal owners know each other by 1-2 degrees of separation max, and no one has ever seen you or your cars. Add that to your blank profile and your desire to stir the pot and that's what got you nominated as troll of the month in the Subscribed forums. There are over 1100 views right now on this thread as Subcribed members drop in to have a look.

I met at least 60 owners from this site this year (a dozen from last weekend's San Diego drive alone) and the common trait among all of them is they are all exceedingly polite to each other, regardless of what model Ferrari they own. The entry point for even the least expensive older model is enough to pay for a private golf course membership or put a kid through college for a year or too.

You may be the coolest guy once you step away from a computer, but unfortunately no one sees that here. You started out okay with your first posts

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=140651124&postcount=9

but sometime after that it must have gone downhill. Anyways, I'd rather make another new friend than an enemy so here is an open invite: PM me the next time you are headed to SuperCar Sunday with your 430 and I'll meet you down there.

Strange, I never see you post in the Arizona forum (as that is where I am from as well). Curiously, I searched for your user name in the AZ forum and no posts ever come up either.

Strangely, every post you've ever made on this site has been located in the Socal area.

Manchester / Jayson: I responded to your PM. More about that in a minute.

We used to have a group of poseurs/trolls/sock puppets hanging out on the Socal forum stirring up a lot of garbage. Mainly they antagonized certain local service facilities and the owners who took their cars there while promoting other locations as being better. Frankly, their garbage was eventually going to cause the real Ferrari owners to stop posting. The Moderators cleaned this all up and it’s been generally very pleasant since then.

The world of Ferrarichat relies on people being truthful about whether they really own a Ferrari, and truthful about their own service and repair experiences because real owners rely on each other for tech help and recommendations. For example, sometime in the next 10,000 miles when I post that my F355 needs its flywheel resurfaced and repacked, I want to be able to trust that the people responding have solid information, not vapor that they conjured up to boost their post count or build false credibility.

Your problems started right here in post #7….

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=338218

…when you said about Rick Zundel, “Whatever you do, don’t listen to this guy. Auto Gallery is the worst.” Then you couldn’t back this up with any first hand experiences with the Auto Gallery service department. You made a couple of vague references to their sales department that had nothing to do with the topic of the thread.

Rick is a real local Ferrari owner with a real car, and I certainly want to hear what he has to say. Same with Testarossa Lover, Modenafan, darth550 (former owner), Senna1994, etc. These are the kinds of guys who make the Ferrari content on the forum legitimate. Otherwise, why call it Ferrarichat? It’s just Chat with the Ferrari part being questionable in its authenticity. And if the real owners leave, eventually so do the sponsors. Then the site goes into a slow death spiral.

Now, back to that invite to come hang out at Supercar Sunday or Santa Barbara Cars & Coffee, the invite is always open, but you need to come as yourself, not as your internet persona.

Since "Jayson" mentioned his preference for L4P, I went over there to take a look. He's on there with the username Ferrari's Only, signed on in July 2011, about 360 posts.

    A few interesting bits:

    - he specifies his location as Los Angeles on that site
    - he has a thread with pics of a 360 spider that "he just sold" to make room for a 458. The 360 had an Auto Gallery license plate frame.
    - he mentions in another thread that a pic of a gray Scud marked as #41 in the Italian Stampede was "his". The Scud shown has the same personalized license plate as the 360, so there is likely a common owner between the two cars
    - there is no mention of a recent 458 that he flipped (as he talks about on this site), though there is mention of a 458 coming in 2012; neither does he mention a 430 coupe and 430 spider that are listed here
    - he also posted an 8 minute video that he says *he* took while in the gray Scud during the Stampede. There is a fixed camera and a hand camera from the passenger seat.

So contrary to the internet persona he is trying to present:

    - he is in Los Angeles and chose to lie about being located in Arizona
    - he embellished his online credentials here regarding being a dealer favorite and flipping cars
    - he or someone he knows did have a 360 and does have a Scud
    - given the passenger seat view and his use of "I took videos" versus "I drove and my friend took videos", there is some likelihood that he is the one who is a friend or relation

So who is Manchester United/Ferrari's Only/Jayson? Someone who has apparently lied when under pressure or for self-aggrandizement.

BTW - it's interesting some of his "friends" are 818ROYALTY and filmstudent.
