Got my 348TS back for the shop, after a cam belt change today. Did a few extras such as silicone hoses and respray of the cam covers....Absolutely delighted with the results. As it turns out the mechanic who worked on my car did it's very first cam belt change back in 1996 (ie 4 owners and 15 years later!!) ...he recognised his signature on a metallic sticker placed there all those years ago! He was also working on a F355 import from the UK. I now understand why imports are so inexpensive (here in Oz) ...the extent of its corrosion was appauling. Very cool Peter. My car had cam belt changes every 3 yrs before I bought it. Now it will more than likely be 10 yr cam belt changes. Is that UK 355 yellow by any chance?
Nice pic's and the covers look great. 2+ years for a major seems extreme but what do I know. It must run great.
Well, it's at 8 yrs now. I guess I am just a slack arse. Too busy fixing everyone else's **** to worry about my own cars. Yellow UK 355...............I think I know the car you speak of.
