    I recently threw a CEL on my '97 Spyder...as I have many time before. Only this time, my scanner will not communicate wioth the car. Any ideas as to what might cause this and/or what I might do to correct this? Thanks for any ideas.

    I've run into this problem when I'd forget to deactivate the security system.

    Mine has to have the car running.
