Got code 4123 on both engine banks. I think this is the speed sensor. Car runs fine. What does this sensor do and any problem driving until I fix it?

If it is the speed sensor, it simply counts the revolutions of the transmission and sends info to the speedometer. Not critical, but you may get some wierd speedo readings.

    Is your speedometer reading normal?

Did not even look at the speedo, all I could see were those two check engine lights.
I have not driven the car since but the lights would go off at idle but soon as the car moved, the lights went back on, so likely the speedo was not working. Will check that tonight.
