Reread your post Chip #220....your quote...."the reason I hate f car get togethers"....no where in your quote did you mention "Your" "Singular" get together in Reno. So yes in your extremely "small" & "limited" experience/s with Ferrari owners, you have had less than favorable time/s...maybe you should stop hanging out with degenerate gamblers who also own Ferraris...also you state..."lot's of D bags out there....I know all of them".....Do birds of a feather flock together?!....it seems likely......Mark

Respectfully, you continue with your specious line of argument and erroneous assumptions.

What makes you believe, for instance, that I or anyone else comes here seeking advice on anything? Internet chat rooms are the last place I would turn for independent, credible, verifiable knowledge on ANY subject. Take a look around. This place is replete with bogus information posted by lots of people with too much time on their hands and far too little knowledge. Exhibit A: the recent discussion about redlining. Apparently, I have had it wrong all these years and pegging the RPM needle into the red zone on my Maserati is actually "good" for my engine (rolling eyes.)

And can you not comprehend why one chooses not to post personal information on an entirely public, insecure web site? How is this so confounding to you? Do you not understand the risks present in the world around you? Perhaps you have never considered that perspective. You might want to start.

More to the point, if one chooses to remain anonymous, please explain how this negates, nullifies or in any way makes their postings less meaningful? Have you never learned the old axiom of not judging a book by its cover? I don't recall that I have ever bothered to look at person's profile, including yours. It is entirely irrelevant to me. I judge you by what you write--the quality of your analysis/arguments, your ability to write a cogent thought, how you conduct yourself, the courtesy, or lack of it, you extend to me and fellow members and so on. It's an approach that works well, for me at least. Conversely, I long ago learned never to judge a man by the size of his bank account or the cars he claims to have in his garages.

Finally, if you continue to feel so strongly about anonymous profiles, why don't you just do the easy thing and ignore them?

He walked way out in the parking lot (full of newer Ferrars) to look at it, and ran his hand thoughtfully over the roofline..

He said..."This is a good one"....not sure he meant THAT exact example, or the 308GTB model.

Joking, I asked him to 'bless" it for the safe journey home, and he stepped to the front hood and did so....LOL!

My ex has an abandoned Lexus in the driveway, left behind when Amanda took her Saturn Sky to school.

If you have such a low personal opinion of Ferrari owners and enthusiasts, then what are you doing spending your spare time amongst them here on a Ferrari enthusiast website?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

He said he was collecting from those Ferrari Owners that "owed" him......?????
What do you do, exactly, ChipG????

This whole thread is past wierd....sorry about emcauto.

My guess is that English is not his native language or he is young.
He started out posting about the 512BB for sale is it in Canada???

Parts of his personality are troubling, to me...but I cannot put my finger on it..I feel like I reached to introduce myself to a young child, and he bit me on the hand. :( :( :(

Sadly we are a bunch of posing dooshbags spending every last dime trying to impress Chippy and the other Cool Crowd guys.

Maybe Chipster can give us some pointers in becoming "class acts".

I guess the thread I was going to start to sell NOS kits for Dinos better wait....

I think you're right with that image... this thread isn't heading anywhere pleasant.

We may actually be better off with this thread closed, so I'll do so now. If there are any objections, please send me a private message and the situation will be reviewed/discussed further.

    All the best,
    Andrew.
