looks a bit more CGT'-ish, in my opinion.

Porsche needs to ditch those awful 20" wagon wheels.

It might grow on me... but it reminds me of a Toyota MR2, which is a deal killer.

    I prefer a 986/987 boxster to this

the hilarious thing about this is that when the MR2 Spyder came out, everyone said it was just a rip-off of the 986 Boxster design. circle of life, I guess :p

A way better execution of the idea.

It looks great! But is it functional or all show?

I was only 6 years old in '99 :p this seems like a much closer design to the MR2 than a 986...

I like the looks of it. Feels good to have a refreshed design on the way.

It looks a lot more aggressive than a 911...doesn't seem like a good thing.

I agree. The lip is awful. I don't see the car as an improvement over the current Boxster.

    Can't say I like it. :(

I hope Porsche don't mess up the Cayman in the same way.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Unfortunately, Now that we know where to look (door handle) you can see the hidden horizontal tape and fake door panel that hides the side-scoops on the 2013 Cayman spy shots. In the 3rd photo below, you can also see a vertical tape line between the gas cover and side mirror that holds the fake panel where it starts on the door.

Im pretty sure I saw tow of these in black in Las Vegas on 10/3. They did not have tags on them or look like they were right off the showroom floor.

It's a mix of CGT and MR2 for sure.
I'm sure it will drive great though.

Ughhh. I see just a hint of CGT in it and a whole LOT of MR2.

Sure wish they'd head more in the direction of the old 550...

That is awesome looking! Get rid of the amber on the front lights and it'll look perfect!

Did I just say that about a Boxster?!:D

that car was designed during Porsche's inexplicable "fried egg" headlight styling phase; but otherwise, it's a brilliant design.
