Speedline Modular Wheel Question

I just acquired a set of the modular Speedline wheels for my 355 and did a test fitment last weekend. The fit up correctly but I was surprised by how much shorter the wheel bolts were between the modular wheels and the stock Speedlines. I was curious if they require a spacer or just have that much shorter of a bolt. Additionally, it looks like the stock Speedlines have a metal sleeve the bolt goes through when mounting the wheel whereas the modulars do not. I wasn't sure if they were supposed to or not.

Any modular Speedline owners willing to give a brother some guidance?
