Yes...you're right, Big Tex. Guess I shouldn't get so vehement about it, so my apologies to Jon and the other posters. All this falls under "to each his own". Drive a few cars and pick the one that grabs you.

I spent several weeks driving a 77 308. It was the first Ferrari I ever drove/spent any time in.

I agree with your comments about the "feeling" of those cars. Whether one prefers that feel is a personal matter. But I think it's important to note that on-road performance is a different issue and not directly related to the "feeling" one gets driving the car re the noise/smells/etc.

I'd only ever consider a "glass 308 or last of the 328s for exactly those reasons. For me, I sold my 1989 328GTB and love my pristine glass 308....but that's just me.

Nicely done! It's like High School on here at times with everybody defending their particulars cars attributes over others when they are all awesome cars! You still have three of them?

I have to share my experience of carbed 308 (GTS) vs 328 (GTB). It all depends on the driving situations. I prefer to take my carbed 308 GTS to back road, 2-3 hours drive with the local club. After 2-3 hours, it becomes exhausting. I took my 328 to the 800 miles, 2-day fogrally. The 328 is more comfortable, more refine and completed the rally without any single incident. Different horse for different course.

A rare Euro 308 GTBi QV is at the top - IF you can find one! ( Oops- here we go again :) )
