    Was there ever a 355 with a glovebox instead of airbag? I could swear I saw a pic of one.

    The first European models had this. I also saw pics only.

    OK, I wonder how hard it is to retrofit the glovebox to an airbag car, for those people who are going to jump in with all the words about safety - this is only a discussion on wether it can be done or not.

    It probably wouldn't be too hard. Go to the Ricambi site and look at the exploded diagrams from the 1995 F355. There should be a side-bar for the Euro version equipment.

    My 1998 F355 OEM steering wheel mysteriously "fell off" and was replaced by a 1995 Euro F355 steering wheel. I still can't figure out how that happened. :)

    There was a whole set of glovebox and mounting hardware on Ebay a couple of days ago. Might still be there.

    I only see a RHD glovebox, is that the one you saw?

    how will you deal with the cel for airbag ?

    Same way I did for the airbag in steering wheel, resistor w/ a fuse.
