^^^Oh...I see Paul V L was a second faster. I hope Milliard wasn't on slicks...if so, he's devalued my car again. 39 cars...good going!
Interesting to see how many Spiders seem to have had a run round the track. You wouldnt have thought them much good for that kind of thing.
why not? Spyder disadvantage is more weight and (slightly) less rigidity, but at this level of car club track days factors such as driver experience, tyres and (more recently) electronic aids make more difference. Look at Horse's list of FTD's in a 308GTS as an example, often achieved against more powerful Berlinettas.
No excuses, just facts. Truth is I thought I would get closer to him (less than 4 seconds), but couldn't get there.
Lol.... I would have been happy with 3 seconds!! I'm sure I had another second left behind at the track, but couldn't find it in time :-(
I tried uploading some photos from the track event but FChat kills the quality, so I've put a few of them on Flickr - http://www.flickr.com/photos/39220738@N05/sets/72157627927174700/
Yes Brett I was well pleased with my laps although the 308 QV was in front at one time.Really enjoyed the track. The GT4s both turned 1/4 mile times that were respectable I think, not door slammer stuff but a lot of fun mine 14.56s speed 154.3 kph David's 14.9 speed 152kph
