Challenge rack?

    I bought a 355 Challenge rack a few years ago and Ferrparts got it from the factory. I have yet to install it, but looking at the stamped part numbers does not show anything to show the Challenge rack part #. Is it just the inside gearing changed on the stock rack and the outside #'s don't change. The rack should be the same as the Fiorano package.

    Found out from the factory if the rack has the number 000176036 under Disegno Cliente it means it is a Challenge rack. Challenge parts had different numbers even for those parts that might be similar to stock. So now that I know for sure I have a Challenge rack , it's going in this winter for the spring track sessions.

    Is this just a faster steering ratio?

    Earlier thread about level of power assist suggested that the steering effort is the same for the challenge rack and "normal" rack.
