I don't know what you are looking for, but the parts manual (mainly the "Air injection device" and "Throttle holders & controls" sheets) could be of a better help than the WSM.

I think that the exhaust bypass valve part of the vacuum system may be connected incorrectly. The side that connects to the canister seems ok

My bypass valve line comes from a "T" with the One side going to two ports on the plenum(guessing the name), other part of T goes to solenoid

Your bypass valve should be connected to a small metallic pipe (red arrow) welded to the bigger exhaust secondary air pipe (item 36).
The other side of the pipe is connected to a hose (red circle area) coming from the solenoid valve.

lets back up. The two one-way air valves connect to the top left of the air canister. Is there anything else in that connection? Mine has a "T" that goes to a spot that looks like it goes under the right intake manifold.

My pipe is missing. Instead it just attaches to the hose back to the solenoid. BUT also in that circuit, connected by a "T" hose, there is a connection that goes to the tube just behind the oil filter and to the left intake manifold.

    All f'ed up

What does number 16/37 ultimately connect to?

Your pictures have nothing to do with the vacuum circuit. Those hoses and the T are part of the blow by system (oil vapor aspiration).

The vacuum circuit starts from the throttle bodies. On each side you should have a non-return valve (item 20) connected to the TBs. The other port of the NRVs are connected together with a T (item 23) and to pipe 37 (of the first diagram).

Does anyone just have a picture of the vac. lines with the air boxes out so we can see how the exhaust valve hooks up?

    This has me puzzled.
