OK the little crap coming out of my conv top cover is getting annoying so decided to do something about it. Got a pair of scissors and a razor to do some surgery on the top cover. Cutting close to the edge the material is easy to cut and you can see why this problem is occurring. The foam that is used has deteriorated completely and is now sifting through the fabric onto your top and car. Sorry did not take a final pic but you get the idea. I have used the cover now for a month without issue. It is actually easier to install now and a little easier to store. Best of all no particles over my arms and car!!

Yes, I too need to do this - I was actually thinking that it would not be a big deal to have a new lining stitched into it.

Where is all the powder coming from? Is it from the back of the leather or the deterioration of the backing? I have the same problem on my cover.
