    Those of you who've been in the Atlanta area a few years will remember the big exotic & sports car gatherings we had monthly adjacent to Giovanni's restaurant in Johns Creek.

    Unfortunately, after Giovanni's closed, the attempts to prolong the event got rather small due to a variety of factors, but now we are trying to regain the glory!

    The meet is now adjacent to a new (and excellent) Mexican grill named Keso, located at Johns Creek Walk on GA-141, just north of Abbotts Bridge Road (GA-120) and about 1-3/4 miles south of the old Giovanni's location. They have a nice outdoor deck for dining (shaded in the afternoon), and if you prefer Cuban cuisine, Palomilla's is a few doors down.

    The day and time are the same as the old Giovanni's meet: third Saturday of every month, starting at about 4 PM, or 3 PM during Standard time. We've been getting about 8 to 10 cars, but we'd like a lot more! And tell your friends who own Porsches, Lotuses and other sports car marques.

    If you used to come to Giovanni's, come to Keso instead! And start this coming Saturday, 10/15.

    If you want to look it up on an online map site or your GPS, their address is 11030 Medlock Bridge Road, Johns Creek.

    yep, Johns Creek Walk is a great place for the 3rd Saturday of the month gathering. And don't forget, there is also a great Cuban Food Restaurant as well.. Palomilla's.
    Food, parking, patio, beer, wine & stronger, and good people make this a MUST DO event!!!

    This Saturday, for those tempted by Cuban food,
    Palomilla's is having a 2 for 1 special on drinks.
    They are now a full serve bar, Beer, Margaritas, Wine, & harder etc

    They have great food as well!!!

    Well, we still didn't have as many cars as I would have liked to have seen, but 9 cars and their occupants made for two long tables on the patio; some had dinner, some didn't, but all had a good time. There was still plenty of parking, so hopefully this event will continue to grow.

    Haha, Stephane, I think you've made enough 500-mile round trips already in the past month! But if you're ever in town on the 3rd Saturday, stop on by. We plan to do this throughout the winter (weather permitting, of course) but we will eat inside when it gets too cold to dine al fresco.

    Jim, When is the next meet up? I missed this thread apparently yesterday. I'm not too far from Johns Creek and I'm sure I can round up my friend Mike to bring his Viper and his buddy with a Lambo Aventador!

    Although I didn't attend this show yesterday, I saw Andy and his 360 at FoA and saw Vince pass by my house in his 355! Thanks for taking your cars out in the wonderful weather!

    I guess that, between the mountain drive and the fact that it was the weekend before Thanksgiving, we had a small crowd at Keso. Oddly, there were two Lotuses there that elected to park way out in the lot and didn't come to the restaurant.

    I was originally going to skip this, but since it was late enough when I got back to Cumming, I decided to head down 141 and see who was there. In the end, I stayed for an early dinner.
