2000 540i sport- real 6-speed stick shift, no i-drive, no Chris Bangel Butt or styling, no Run Flat tires or electric steering, and the car starts with a real key not a fob/start button! Going on 10th year with the car (bought it 2 years old) and I'd rather get another old 911 to go with the 360 before spending more money on a daily driver :) Car still rocks pretty good, especially on long highway road trips! Cost to maintain from the awsome independent mechanics I use is less than my dad's toyota! Every year we check the suspension bushings to keep the car tight- when one needs replacement it is something like $80 vs. $1,000 at the dealer that replaces the whole suspension arm!

If the car dies, I'd love a clean e55 AMG or E63 AMG, or a low mileage and very clean M5 (model year 2000-2003) if it could be found locally. Both of the AMGs sound awesome with nice torque ;)

As the owner of a BMW indepdendent shop, this is one of the single best cars from them. Great power, looks, performance and reliable. I've owned many BMW's and you won't be able to pry this one away from me.

e55 (for work and meetings and getting around town), range rover (for nearby shopping/groceries, dropping off daughter, or rainy/snowy days), lexus gs300 (for long trips, smooth and reliable and sips gas), jaguar xkr (sporty mood but still comfortable in the city driving, also good for golf trips less than 2 hours away). the f car and others are fun on short highway trips and on the track~~ p.s. Korean traffic is horrible.

Well, nothing special for me, a 2009 Honda Fit Sport that I will likely keep until it is no longer safe and reliable (which I'm guessing will be 10+ years from now). I really love this car for a daily driver, it's not exactly luxurious or well appointed, but it gets high 30's in fuel economy, small enough to park anywhere and versatile enough to haul stuff.

Normally I only buy "cheap" cars for daily drivers, but recently it came time to buy my wife a new car. We thought about another Honda, but ended up going with Volvo. We went through the Volvo US Military Sales dealer we have in Japan and ended up paying $40k for a fully optioned 2011 Volvo XC60 R-Design with a sticker price of $53k. This will be my wife's safe and luxurious vehicle to haul herself and my son around. Will also be keeping this for 10+ years.

I don't own my Ferrari yet, but I am actively shopping for a F430 Spider, but the color combo I'm looking for seems fairly rare, so I think finding one in good condition for a price I can afford may take a little while. I'm looking for white exterior with red seats and red interior accents, but NOT a full red dashboard if anyone knows of anything.

I'm on my third . . . Been driving them for a long time. I know most of the folks on here lean farther right than I, but I like to think I am helping the environment in some small way (at least averaging down my total carbon footprint) :)

The rebates aren't awesome for the rest of us that have to pay for them! It's ridiculous in fact.
