    Can you tell me about your service about fuel hoses ? Did you change every fuel hose ? (I will have to do on my 328 in incoming weeks, due to bad gazoline smelling (without leaking drops).

    The front view of a 308 with low spoiler is just one of the most beautiful shape of all cars ever made on earth. I love my 328, but I would like to have a 308 too !!

    Hi,

    Yes, all fuel hoses have been replaced by new, better ones (the mechanic doesn't take any chances and has used industrial grade ones that are extra reinforced). Please don't use the original type fuel hoses, because today's fuel will eat them up from the inside. You can check if this is already happening by squeezing your fuel hoses (if they are still of original type). If they get moist you know they're rotted from the inside.
    I haven't seen the receipt yet but it's not a very difficult job it seems (especially when combined with a valve job).

    I know right? It's a west coast car that was always garaged and never saw rain so everything still looks new. All the plating on the nuts/bolts still exists, no rust, very little dirt 100% original with all of the books and tools. I've owned it for about a year and a half now. it isn't perfect but it's in better shape than so many others I have seen.
