Hi gang, Looks like I found my car -- 77 GTB; I can get it smogged okay. Thanks so much to all of you who PM'd me and posted links, as well. Some beautiful cars out there . My best, Scott
Still can't believe how cheap your 3x8 cars are state side! Our dollar is stronger than the US and our economy is not up sh#t creek yet we pay more than double for these cars here! Mind you you guys drive on the other side of the road - not that there is anything wrong with that! Enjoy that special car mate!
I have a 1986 328 with $40K in restoration done early 2009. 73,00 miles, but drives better than any of the 30K mile cars without the extra restoration. PM me for details. It;s probably a car for someone who buys for condition over miles. ALL records from window sticker to restoration.
Congrats Scott. May have to pick your brains on smogging a '77 in case I ever get a potential buyer in CA.
I know it doesn't take long to develop the addiction, I can't imagine what the withdrawals are like! :^O...
post the smog cert if you dont mind, i am trying to keep track of CA emission values on these carbed cars.
Dude, you crack me up! The State of CA thanks you immensely for all of your car sales tax revenue in the past few months.
Ugh...let's see....one Euro dry sump purchased in April of 2010; paid tax on 18K purchase. One 1977 308 GTB purchased in October of 2011; paying tax on 25K purchase. I think CA has profited a bit more from your 80K TR and 45K 355, no? Maybe I'll buy your GTO wheels next; I feel sorry for CA...
I'm consigning my glass July 76 gtb on Monday. Investment grade survivor. Clint Eastwood car. If anyone interested, let me know before Monday. After that, you can see online. Mark
