You and me both! And it's not like i havent tried to show him the light... Do you know the owner of this one? Peter? He was incredibly cool and nice. And the owner of the other F50 present was also super cool. I was in heaven yesterday. Here is the 2nd F50 (euro car, tinted rear lights..) http://www.imagebam.com/image/246973152262469
The F50 was a dream car of mine for years. That gray with red looks awesome. I am still partial to yellow though.

Just out of interest, what would a set of excellent condition original equipment F50 Goodyear eagles be worth with about 5mm of tread still on them. 3 rears, 2 fronts?.
ok here goes:- o/s rear -mba1 5505 516 o/s front -mb6y 5503 375 n/s rear -mba1 5504 166 n/s front -mb6y 5502 375 n/s rear - mba1 5504 225 from what I can gather the 4 digit number is build date, so that makes all of them 55th week of production ??? and years 05 , 03 , 04, 02 and 04 maybe the 55th week signifies instead the fact that f50 tyres were special order hand built rather than actual production week made. I know how anal concours judges can be, so I guess such tyres would be perfect for f50 show cars where originality is king, rather than cars used on a regular basis, which would no doubt use alternative tyres now that the originals are no longer available. edit more internet digging suggests MB signifies Plant 2 of the Goodyear Akron site
I don't think Goodyear made another run after they were withdrawn years ago. I have a set that came off my 1998 F50, it had 2000 km on it when they came off. Only good for concour, not for driving.
I also have a set of standard wheels in perfect condition and a Perspex engine cover, also in perfect condition.
I'm sure politicians will one day realise that plight of supercar owners and will allow for the F50 to be street legal on our roads. Keep them handy.
I purchased them as set up tyres for a ferrari project I have on the go, as they are the correct size, but if an f50 owner is in greater need of them then please send me a pm and I am sure we could sort something out. I am located in the UK.
Won't be much use to me, I gave up after five years of ownership and sold it. All you could do is take it to the track.
I really do not know whether people have said this in the past or not, but thanks for bringing such a beast to our shores. Anything else that is left on the bucket list?
Thanks, I made an effort to get it to events for people to see. Unfortunately it doesn't always happen as there are some great cars here that people never see. Lots of things left; but with our taxes it's not likely I will see them all ticked off
You did a great thing. F50 or not, you are right, there are some great cars in Melbourne that just never get to come out. I.e. when was the last time you saw Mr Fox take out the xj220, enzo, F50 or gullwing? Never. I believe there was a common saying on a few fchat thread "Drive them like they're meant to be driven."
