    Ridiculous, lol.

My issue is that no one is checking the other companies, just Fabspeed.

Go back and re-read, please, including your own posts. You are the one casting doubts on other manufacturers. The one making accusations is usually the one responsible for providing credible information supporting his/her speculations.

What is ridiculous is your insistance on checking other companies. They are not a sponsor here starting threads to push their product. Do you not see this?

    Ok here you go.

    Read carefully:

Once fully tested, the finished construction of the system is now ready for serial-production and will now be produced based on the existing and precise guidelines. CNC-bending and milling as well as other modern technology, guarantee the continuous quality at the highest standards.

Does it say where everything is produced? They do build and design the prototype, but after that what happens? Can't find anything about "Made in what country?"

Fabspeed probably did make a mistake in stating "Made in the USA" they should have just been vague like all the rest and no one would be "demanding the truth."

And because of this what? They pay good money here, the rules say they can, so what's wrong?

What is ridiculous is you are all picking on just one vendor. If the truth is so important, why is this just coming out now? Are you saying the mods should investigate vendors more thoroughly before allowing them to become sponsors. LoL, get serious.

    Here is Agency Power:

Agency Power takes immense pride in the work it does and the products it creates.* Many products Agency Power has engineered and designed, have been released to market and still*not*produced by others or*were industry firsts.* The reason for this page is to show our current and potential customers that Agency Power products are Made in the USA or prototyped in the USA from the finest craftmanship and standards set.
Agency Power main product line is CNC machine based.* We have many different products from Fuel Components, Motor Mounts, Shifters, Suspension Parts, and more.* All of these products are made right here in Arizona with our machine shops we have engaged business with.* Everything down from the concept, design, engineering, testing, anodizing, and laser engraving is all sorted in Arizona.* All these products are made under strict tolerances to ensure a perfect working item is produced.* Our quality control is top notch for our CNC machined products.**Below are some examples of our work.
Another product Agency Power is known for is our steel braided brake lines and our silicone boost and radiator hoses.* Our steel braided brakes lines are all manufactured by a partner company in the USA for us to meet strict DOT regulations.* Each kit is made with precision testing and comparison to the vehicles factory lines to ensure proper fitment.* Our silicone hoses are made using our proprietary mandrels which are copied off the factory components.* After test fitting the products, we produce the production pieces.* These products again are made by a manufacturing company based in the USA.* You can view some of the items below.
A large part of what Agency Power produces is with performance exhaust components.* Agency Power does not buy off the shelf Chinese exhaust systems like other brands.* Agency Power actually prototypes the exhausts here in Arizona using our own or customer vehicles.* We then test them on our Mustang AWD Dyno and make changes to achieve the best sound and performance we can get.* Our exhaust prototypes are then shipped overseas to be made in large quantity.* The reason for this is because of the quality, finish, and cost to produce the item overseas is far better then here in the USA.* The stainless steel TIG welding is all robotic and all our exhaust systems feature completely polished piping.* We have even introduced titanium mufflers and tips to certain vehicles.* The Agency Power exhaust line is the only product that is not manufactured in the USA.* We have included images below.
Some of our newest products are being produced in Carbon Fiber.* These products are being built right here in Arizona by a partner manufacturing company who is exclusively producing these molds for us.* These carbon fiber products feature superior quality vacuum formation, clear coat finish, and a fitment that will rival any OEM manufacture.* These components are generally produced using the OEM product to ensure a quality fit, but then tested with Agency Power to ensure performance is accomplished.* We have included below.
If you ever have any questions, concerns, or feedback about our products, please contact us here.

So which products are made in the USA, and which one's are just prototyped in the USA.

Speaking just as an observer and not as a moderator...

...the issue seems to be a problem with the accuracy of the applied phrase "made in the USA" to the claim, rather than an alternative akin to "designed/assembled in the USA" - which I suppose is different. So if you're going to administer the ultimate consumer punishment by taking your business elsewhere then shouldn't you ensure that your chosen product meets your criteria for manufacturing location? Otherwise, blindly going elsewhere without subjecting the competition to similar scrutiny is akin to punishing a business for the audacity to sponsor a site that you enjoy frequenting in the hope of a little extra visibility and boost of sales. If manufacturing practises are similar in this market (and I would assume they are), then I'd just go for the one that gives you a good technical product for a decent price - from what I've read, Fabspeed strike me as being pretty competitive there.

Again, those are thoughts purely as a fellow member and not as a moderator.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Sorry, but you have not provided any credible information indicating they are misrepresenting anything. I have no interest in this, except I would like to know the truth regarding the Fabspeed headers. In expectation of my 360 developing header failure in the future I have discussed options with Craig at Fast Cars Ltd., and Fabspeed was discussed. If replacement becomes relevant I would like to keep them an option, but I would like to know if their claims of "Made in the US" are correct and/or if they have intentionally mislead the F'Chat community, in which case I would probably rather support someone else.

Smart man. I just laugh how I put up Agency Power, go to the section I posted. Big label at the top, Made in the USA, yet read down farther. I am beginning to get the feeling somebody's friends, and we know who I am referring to, is having some fun with this.

all I want to see is straight answers.. do you or do you not import from Taiwan (or wherever). None of that is mentioned.. just polished statements.

If they are from Taiwan, no big deal to me.. as long as it is well-made. I have Fabspeed exhaust on my 911. I am happy with it.

I really don't care anymore but wish I'd see less politician talk.. "I did not have sex with that woman.."

For sure! No doubt they can make great stuff, but we just don't like being mislead. If it's made in Taiwan of high quality, then just say that. Don't say "Handmade in USA". It's better when all the facts are on the table. There are too many smart and well connected people on Fchat for that. Risking integrity to sell more products is a gamble that may pay off short term, but certainly can't be sustained in today's ultra competative marketplace.

Why do you say that? QV is hand made in the UK with lifetime warranty. New higher grade mandrel tubes, and new fiber insulation. Only the flanges are reused. And the usual awesome service from Daniel at Ricambi. They're not all shiny, but i'll never have to buy headers again. I know you've always been against QV though :)

I appreciate what you’re saying and I did check out fabspeed a few yeas ago but they were very vague at the time and did not provide answers to my satisfaction. After doing a lot more research and talking to some very good Ferrari people as well as Dave Helms, it only made sense to install insulated headers. Tubi is the only choice. Fabspeed could manufacture their headers at the North Pole, sell them to me for $800 and fly them to me via rudolph and I still wouldn’t put them on my car. There is a reason for insulating these puppies. One day when Dave Helms has his headers on the market, everyone will understand quality, insulated pipes. Unfortunately many fall for the nicely polished pictures at under $3000. Sorry but I paid big bucks for my car and it deserves the best.

I never considered Fabspeed headers when I needed to replace my 355 headers. My friend had them on his car and suffered cracked welds and had to have them repaired by a local Ferrari specialist at least 3 times. That alone scared me enough to explore other choices.
