    Hey guys

I am trying to remove the pins from the two rectangle plugs (12 pins each) that are at the rear drivers side shock tower in order to install the GCK...

I have removed the yellow 'cover' on the pins (on the inner side), but am unable to get the pins loose/wire removed. Can someone give me a brief how-to for this...

    Thanks

OK first I have to get my old brain to actually recall how I did it. IF you look closely there is a tiny retaining tab for each contact. This tab is part of the contact housing. I used a dental tool to bend the tab back to release the contact. I did take a few photos so I will try to dig them up and post them for you. The dental tool I used I bought at Walgreens (dental plaque scraper) Looks like a flattened dental pick. MIght not be able to post photos until next week as I will be traveling overseas tomorrow. I'll give it my best.

Wish I could get the right tools in Dubai...

How does the locking mechanism on the plug work? If I slide in a pick from the top, will the pin release by itself/pop out, or do I need to push the wire through?

Pin pulls out of the back of the housing.

Sorry I won't be able to access my photos right now. They are on my other laptop and I will be out of the country for the next 5 days.
