This has me VERY excited, I mean, I'm practically drooling. Replica, sure, but with true Ferrari soul and intent. I can only imagine what the price must be. I'm sure it's worth it, though.

Still looking at all the images from our road testing with the newest P4 in the great state of Washington. I would like to give Chuck Simpson a big thank you for coming out and getting some great shots of the P4! Click on the link to view links for the appropriate image size for your computer. This image is already one of my personal favorites and there will be more to come. Enjoy!

Bob and I had a dream of building a new series of high quality P4 recreations, that were easy to drive and as accurate as possible to the original. It was a big departure from the cars Bob built in the 80s and 90s. The goal was to build a car using the same hand craftsmanship the original car employed, while staying true to all the fine details. A modern v12 Ferrari engine was used for the drivability and power of a street car. We coupled with a vintage look and super car power that could be driven with ease.
Many years of sweat and tears went into this project, we truly poured our hearts into this beauty. We can now step back and truly be proud of the work we accomplished. Now, we are happy to share her with the world. Please feel free to download the free picture we posted, and enjoy. Too bad I can't offer you all a test drive, I guess the picture will have to do!

As my wife puts it, "that is a damn sexy car…not sure anyone could look bad in it, plus it sounds amazing!".

I can imagine it being very hard to part with each of them when you're finished with the build! Well done, guys, kudos to both of you! It's quite inspiring to see such a labor of love!

Starting up a new P4 330 is always a thrill for Bob and I. The sound of this particular Ferrari V-12 575 motor with our headers was unbelivable. In our next video you can hear this P4 at full power being dynoed by Bob Norwood.

That is very cool, but it you dont like the idea of a recreation then you can always buy a real one that is currently for sale in England, but be quick as it is unlikely to be around for long. You may need to have in excess of £10 million to be in the game:

    That's not a P4. That's a 350 Can Am.

There is only one P4 existent and it's not for sale.

    Mr. G.,

I am a complete novice when it comes to the history of the P4 cars, so excuse this newbie question.

Which P4 is the one that still exists?
I did a quick web search and it says 4 of them were made: 0856, 0858, 0860, and 0846.
0858 and 0860 were later converted by Ferrari into 350 Can Am cars.
You own 0846 and it was originally a P3 but had the frame modified to hold a P4 engine and is referred to as the "P 3/4".
So, is the only existing P4 car 0846 or 0856?

    Thanks.

0856 is the only original P4 existent.

    0846 is a P 3/4. (It's not for sale either)

0858 is a 350 Can Am. It's chassis, engine, body and other things have been modified by Ferrari and putting a replica P4 body on it won't magically turn it into a P4 and Ferrari agrees with me on that.

    0860 is a 350 Can Am with a replica P4 body.

    0844 is a 330 Can Am with a replica 412P body.

0848 is a P3 converted by Ferrari into an original 412P.

    0850 is an original 412P.

    0854 is an original 412P.

There are no P3's existent nor have any ever been sold as they were converted into 412P's, a 330 Can AM and a P 3/4 by Ferrari.

    Best
