thank you - interesting colour. i would only prefer the black rubber-lips to the painted ones.

Maybe I can reply for my friend Paul, as we very likely have the same source of information for this (an ad in the Ferrari Market Letter):

02/1989 For sale at The Fine Car Store, San Diego, CA/USA. New paint / 42,000 mls / black/tan

    Hope this helps!

Btw, could I please have your name so that I can add you to my database as current owner of s/n 15817? (it can be by pm if you prefer not to post it in public).

    Thanks & ciao,

    Lars

Thank you Marcel and Lars. This info gives me more dark alleys to explore. I had hoped the gaillo was the original color because I love this yellow/tan combo.

    +1000!

Gorgeous car, superb photo, I have known for years that I want just that; a fly yellow tan C4, I would just give it a (slightly) louder exhaust and stiffer springs and shocks, which can be reverted to original.

Based on post # 94 it's possible to fit a rear set of 9" Cromodoras on the C4? Or some adjustments are necessary? Makes the car look so much better...

I have been told yes (no mods required) as well as no  So I have bought a set of 9" cromodoras and will try it for myself. I will report back in the next few months after get I my car home (away having an engine rebuild at the moment) Hopefully it won't be a huge drama, 9" wheels make the car look more aggressive
