    Leo,

I have had 2 actuators rebuilt by Capt Z. Both times they did a great repair and returned the actuator to me in a timely fashion. So, if it's the actuator that needs repair, they are the place to go.

My impression of Capt Z is that it is a "Mom and Pop" business. So, wouldn't surprise me if they are simply on vacation. When I had them do my work, I didn't e-mail them however. I simply ordered the repair from the website. They then e-mailed me back confirming the order and instructing me to send them the actuator. Price is right as you have no doubt heard. Turn around time was a couple days, so counting for the mail, I had the part back in a week or so. Might be longer for you since you are in PR, and the mail time may be different. My advice is to simply order the repair from the web site. They will contact you after that.

Also, as Daniel said, if the issue is the little metal gear on top of the shock, Ricambi has them and they are reasonably-priced as well.

    John
