Anyone have a method of tinting the plastic window on the spider top?
Hmm... You would think the tinted film would stick to the plastic almost as good as glass but I don't think I have heard of anyone trying that...
Added note here: I'm wondering if the best and most economical way is to use a static tint film which is used on house windows. Some of the other forums mention this and in fact several people have done this with great success...it is very cheap($10-$15)...very easy to fit/cut/install.....if it ever goes bad it is super easy to remove....and it appears to hold up pretty good thru cycling the top open/close. If and when I try it I'll use the plastic renewal stuff made by Meguires to take out any scratches and crap off the original clear plastic(vinyl?). Sure beats taking the top off and doing a plastic window replacement. Any thoughts/opinions?
Mine could use a refreshing. I have some 3M stuff, but I thought I'd search the archives for recommendations first. Let me know how the Meguire's works.
