The problem is when you use in speedway with the ABS software. We show you the telemetry dates next week.

Depends on how far and how seriously you take your track days.

The standard ABS programming will always be a compromise between drivability and brake effectiveness. Drivability and safety are the focus for road car models. The ABS is designed to keep the car maneuverable and stable under all circumstances and under any driving conditions. In a track context, this compromise shifts towards brake effectiveness, as experienced drivers can still control a slightly unstable vehicle which they have trained themselves to do. On the Scud with the different control settings the driver can of course select CST-Off.

Lets face it the production cars, even the Scud's, CS's, etc. are far more of a road car than a track car. Yes you can still have enormous fun with them but in fairness they are 10% designed for track with the regular models and 20% bias towards the track with the Scuderia... That's still 80%+ of the entire design decisions towards road comfort and road use vs track. That's a hell of a lot of upgrading and modifying to do to make the car 'complete' for comp on track performance and then you'll compromise its on road behavior.

If your really start to track it a lot (it gets addictive!) then a dedicated track car like the 360 or 430 Challenge starts to look far more interesting. Particularly because things like ABS software have already been re-calibrated specifically for the track duties. All the weight reduction has already been attended to and more importantly for track there is a full on safety package including full roll cage, FIA approved including carbon race seats, 6 point harnesses, fire extinguishers, proper fixed rate track uprated suspension, thicker arb's, adjustable drop links, steering ratio, etc. etc.

Just a thought for people considering modifying their cars that simply tinkering with a road car will never really get you close to the experience of a Factory spec Challenge car spec without replacing huge amounts of the original car over several years and by that point you may as well have purchased a Challenge and saved the pain and cash.
Really there are huge differences under the very similar looking skin.

    Just my 2c's worth...

    Subscribing to follow your progress.

Are these discs something you've prepared on a prototype basis? I understand a number of users have already changed out to a Brembo Steel big-brake kit.

Best of luck anyway and I look forward to reading of your tests.

    sorry for the delay guys:
we working a lot in the work shop and in few weeks we begening our race program with the F458 Challenge

The test with the brakes goes perfect, we use the same brake calipers of the F430 GT3 cars, and you can fit with the same wheels. You can use diferents pads compost and you conserve the OEM hand brake caliper.

I hope we can post pictures soon

    Best Regards
