    I disagree.

Everyone has every right to earn what the free market is willing to pay. Bieber (sp?) comes from that world.

Athletes pay is highly subsidized by the taxpayer who is forced to pay / build their "office". How many times do we here Team owner's ridiculously claiming they can't afford the new stadium? Of course they can, run it like a business,... build your office or rent it from someone else, and pay the players from what is left. a few players with $50M contracts instead of $100M contracts would build a large portion of that stadium!

As for Bieber's car,... my concern is more about whether he has the maturity and skill to operate the car safely.

I can't hate on her. That 458 is very tastefully modified. Could have been bad. She is very pretty. A friend of mine did her hair and when she turned to do an interview he snapped a quick profile pic of her butt. Wow, the line of her back literally turns 90 degrees and goes straight out. I have to say I much prefer her in a 458 to JB.

So if you are an athlete or an entertainer, marketing your talent, your income is obscene. But, if you are an entrepreneur who markets pet rocks, croc shoes or beanie babies and makes a fortune it is money hard earned?

You know it is sad that our teachers and street cleaners will never make that sort of money with out marrying it or winning the lottery, but it is the way our capitalistic system works. As long as the workers at the bottom are not subject to a life of poverty inspite of hard work, in the end it all works out.

Unless someone is a direct competitor and it effects me, what someone makes and how they make it is none of my business and I'm not going to waste time on it. Focus on your own house before ever looking over the fence. What's on the other side is irrelevant.

Not bad, I like her taste. ;) :D

Holy crap, those are big........... wheels ;)

Seriously, the 458 rear wheels make the SUV wheels standing next to it look small!

With respect, who really is going to own these cars? We're in rich guys cand shop here.Joe Blow can work hard all his life, and never get within spitting distance of a Ferrari.Rock stars, pro jocks , rich lawyers and financiers are your target market. That's the genius of Ferrari's marketing program, and that's who they target.Like F.Scott said" the rich will always be with us".

Frankly, I take issue with the fact that you feel you are in a position to decide who "deserves" (your word) to get paid and how much. The idea that an entertainer or professional athlete is any less "deserving" of his wealth than is ________ (fill in the blank) is utter bunk.

Capitalism's only guarantee is that you have a bite at the apple. It does not guarantee either a level playing field or, more importantly, outcome.

The irony of your post here on FerrariChat is that there are perhaps billions of impoverished people in the world who view the mere existence of a Ferrari as the very definition of obscene (your word) wealth.

First off - as others have said - it's a capitalistic society / economy, he's entitled to everything he earns.

Second - and I'm no Beebs fan - this dude's story is awesome. He's not some entitled mouthpiece, he's worked CRAZY hard to get where he is. Granted, it happened fast and furious, but I have total respect for the guy. He writes, he dances, he sings, and he did it in a completely different way than most.

I may NEVER own a Ferrari, but I harbor no ill will or jealousy towards anyone that does. Good for them.

That would be believeable if Bieber had worked at it for that long but....

In todays society 15min's is all it take to become a wonderkind and Beiber is riding that wave but he will eventually just be another Leif Garrett, you heard it here first.

Our definitions of "deserve" are based on our value system. I "value" when people do things that empower others, that bring the human race forward. Bringing faster information technology to the market.. new medicines that help us live longer... financiers that fund these things. These values are what guides my definition of "Deserve" and who deserves to make money.

Here kid, take this ball and throw it into that hoop over there. Do I think this "deserves" a 7 figure salary? No. But do I respect and believe in the invisible hand of the market.. absolutely.

OTOH, do I secretly want to spank dat bootie? Maybe.. ;-) jk.

I agree with you and look where it has taken us, into the BS realm of the 'Basketball Wives' and 'Football Wives' tv shows, that crap makes me want to regurgitate with disgust.

AMEN. Bieber did his own thing, and it worked.

The only people that complain about rich people spending money are the ones who (a) don't have it themselves and (b) ARE NOT CLIENTS. His Ferrari dealer is happy, including their hard working sales people and mechanics. As is anyone else he is spending his money on. The jewelry store where he buys something for his girlfriend, the folks who mow his grass, etc. SPENDING MONEY MAKES THE WORLD WORK!

    Yup!

80% of pro NFL football players are bankrupt just TWO 2 years after they have left the league.
70% of pro NBA basketball players are bankrupt 5 years after they have left the game.
60% of pro MLB baseball players are bankrupt 5 years after they stopped playing.

What I don't get is how you can go from being raise with nothing, to then making hundreds of thousand, and even millions, and you don't put any of it away?????? Even if you keep a couple $Mil in cash, and don't invest it in jacksquat??? Mind boggling.

Its called capitalism in a free society and I like it. Only people without any marketable talent begrudges those that do of the benefits of what talent can earn you.

The real money comes in being an agent. You can work until your 65 and there's always another jock looking for big bucks walking in the door.

Good business managers though are few and far between. It is amazing more jocks don't realize they can be out of business with just one silly injury or event.

Not in anyway commenting on his success. Good for that kid as previously stated. What i am commenting on is who we are rewarding as a society.

Alot of people have talent, and work a lot harder to make a hell of a lot less money than Bieber.
