Excellent! Good to hear that, hope Thailand recovers soon & next year will be better.

Whatever the cityplanners do won't be immediate & possibly up to 5years for infrastructures to be ready but it'll do good for long. Almost made Bangkok my 2nd home.

I was in Thailand three weeks ago.

One of my suppliers is 2 meters under water. I will be back between dec 12 and the 21, staying at Lebua hotel by the river.

Would love to catch up with the local fchat guys.

Any meets or gatherings planned during that time?

    Kai

    Is it 2012 yet?

But I did! First of all, I had considered that 430 Scuderia is very similar to my Challenge Stradale in many criteria. So T decided to skip it. Secondly, I had been learned that Ferrari must be red. Like we all see Ferrari F1 cars only in red. Blah blah...Therefore, red is always my choice of color for my ponies since 348, 355, then CS.

Somehow, my point of view has been changed after I saw this black Scuderia in flesh. She is stunning and simply irresistible. Looking like a devil ride that could lure me into its darkside. wow...I kept saying to myself that I really want this beast. Decision made almost instantly after short talk to the dealer. The car is in mint condition with only 1633 miles on odometer. Then I drove her home with happiness and pride.

Now, I realize that black Ferrari might probably not draw strong public attention. Lets say less turnheads than red or yellow pony. BTW, my Dark Horse is pretty outstanding among those red Ferrari fleet in any gathering.

What I really like on this car's appearance are those yellow mimics especially on brake calipers and interior stitching around the cockpit. Kudos to designer at Maranello for creating such a beautiful color combination of black and yellow :)

if so, that's your at St. Regis hotel today? :)

I walked out of the hotel in the afternoon I saw a yellow CS, then when I returned at night, a red CS was there. Both with stripe.

It was fatal collision. Cant really imagine any lifes available in those wrecks. Seeming like that GT2 run far over the speed limit. The terrible accident had occured in just a blink. Two other vehicles were involved because they unluckily shared the same traffic at the bad time.

No wonder many call 996 GT2 as "widow maker". Unlike the newer 997 which came w safety features like PASM, etc. Seeming like engineers at Stuttgart then realized how to make a better road car later on. The 996 GT2 is very tricky machine. I myself used to spot a gold 996 GT2 run into the expressway wall suddenly after leaving toll booth. Looking like its pretty difficult for average driver to handle this beast well on wet road.

Finally, my condolence to those who lost lifes and injures. RIP :(

p.s. we all dont know the guys in person. Anyway, we were shock and sorry to hear about this cars crash.

The Porsche driver is my friend’s father.

We still don’t know what caused the accident.

I agree GT2 is not easy to handle in a wet condition and curved road, but in a very hot summer and straightway of the tollway shouldn’t be anything related to a car handling that cause the accident.

My deepest condolences to Joe's family and those who lost their lives.

Anyone knows who is the chairman and/or comittee in FOC Thailand...

I am from FOCHK and would like to get in touch with them for some crossover events...

Is FOC Thailand still a Ferrari recognize Club?
