LOL KNOW you now I also own my Fire/Security company for many many years www.fpiseattle.com If you dont think my trucks dont have the LATE of the BEST there is in tracking, viewing ans securing...well....
YOU..how about me, I have yet to see it in person myself..but I think it will be a GOOD THANKSGIVING! In time GOOD things come to all who wait...Is that not a famous quote from someone.??
Few here have had the privilege of seeing your Periscopa after Steve restored it to it's current condition. Pica don't do it justice. Original is nice. Being able to see something look like it did when it rolled off the line is pretty damn cool. I vote for a full restoration to the level of your other one. Go big or don't bother. You have raised the bar in your collection. A car with patina when you know you can do better seems a bit flaccid. Of you did a full restoration just to store it I would be against it. But ou are known for DRIVING some of the best examples of Lamborghinis in the world. A car with "patina" isn't how you roll. Let me put it in terms you understand. When you are used to girls with perfect tits lounging around your grotto, would you really be happy if one of them had a saggy wrinkly pair when the rest of her was a "10"? Go get your girl the 700cc implants Roy. Just my $.02.
Are you referring to these friends that hung out and were my "Lanscaper's" this last summer..? My pool stayed pretty darn clean..... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Now imagine 20 or so of them just like that at your disposal. Then imagine one of them has small saggy breasts. Just sayin'. ;-)
Very True Bill! Seeing Roy's car in person is nothing like the pictures! Here was my 5000QV parked next to it last month at our weekly cars & coffee event. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's a bit of a trip seeing a car of that age and then literally seeing a perfect interior as if no one has ever even sat in it. Kind of messes with your mind. Your car looks great next to it!
Keep It as it is, with the mechanical work that needs to be done.. The car is only original once as mentioned.. It's not a new car anymore.. If it's good a little patina is just beautifull! A piece of automotive history well preserved.. Whats better than that? It wasn't new in 2011.. Cheers Daniel
That's the best passage of the thread... AMEN Roy !!!! So now post the pics without resistance... LOL
Alberto is quite right - having recently discovered a barn find that is not in great condition (see 86 qv thread on lambo talk) as much as i would like to simply brush off the peeling paint, clean and lube...i don't think that will be possible - so a restore may (will) have to happen
