I pulled my seats out to leatherique them, and sent off my headrests via UPS to get fixed as they were in pretty poor condition. Through no fault of anyone, UPS lost them. Sh*t happens as they say.

If anyone knows the source of two headrests, and the left seat rear panel, in crema, please let me know. I would be willing to pay a finders fee.

There is a complete set of seats on ebay.....but its too much money.

Any help would be appreciated to help me out of this unfortunate situation.

I am very sorry to hear about this loss. I have been through this also with other then car stuff and it is always very frustrating.

    And the tracking numbers showed.................?
What was the package insured for? It will help to reimburse. I know the default is $100

for anyone interested, this guy has a pair of red 1979 308 GTS seats for sale for $500. "Good condition". Seems like a good deal, too bad they arent crema.

by way of comparision, there are two 308 seats on fleabay for $1,600 in ratty condition.

    no affiliation.

I'm happy you found a couple of headrests, Geno. I'm sure it wasn't easy.

Maybe you'll start a new upholstery trend! :D

did you see in the technical section there was a guy that used his wifes' cake decorating apparatus to fill his CV joints with grease. That almost topped your propane torch trick.

One of my many many crazy ideas was to make a set of Daytona style headrests for my 77 that might actually reach the back of my head. As usual no time.

Just order a new set of covers for them. Shouldn't be that much for just those two little parts!? Or take them to a local shop and have them replicate new ones. GAHH or World would probably sell you just the headrest covers.

i actually just bought another set of headrests from fleabay, that have brand new covers on them in crema, but i suspect they arent going to match at all as my leather is 35 years old.

i just leatheriqued the seats and they turned out amazing. Not new, just a bit of patina, but they look great.

Leave them out in the driveway for a couple of weeks. Then they'll match.
