Just saw the commercial....3000-mile race across the country.

The commercial makes it look AMAZING!!

Haven't bought a new video game in 3 years...

    Anyone have it?

If you have a PS3/Xbox , you can download the demo . Its ok , but I think GT5/Forza is better.

Thank Michael Bay for a commercial that oversells the product.

Yeah EA likes to spend money in the wrong places.

I tried the demo. Wasn't really impressed.

I hadn't played an NFS games since HP2 and liked the car list in the last one and made the horrible mistake of buying it, I've never played such a horrible racing games. I will say though their marketing is top notch, they really want to play their games and within 5 minutes I'm instantly disappointed.

Just like the NFS game that had the Zonda vs Murcielago live action commercial, it's all show no go. The game stunk but that ad remains one of my favorite ever.

    Edit: here it is.

I'm on the fence with this game. I don't really see it being any good. The NFS series really took a dump over the years :(

I've been deeply disappointed with a majority of the NFS titles, the last one that impressed me was NFS: Most Wanted.

I agree , Most Wanted was a lot of fun . I bought the last hot pursuit game and sold it within 2 days after getting it .

Driver: San Francisco looks really fun to me!

It's a bit arcade-y though, which could be fun...or not.

After NFS:MW EA has basically been taking the worst aspects of arcade racers and mashing those together with the worst aspects of sim racers, taking a crap on that, and then calling it finished. I will not be duped into buying that crap again.
