Does anyone know for sure what the Bosch part numbers are for the starter motor, starter solenoid and alternator are? It's a long story but it would be ideal if I can shop for the rebuild parts for all of these without having to remove the parts from the car to look up the part number. We have an opportunity in class to rebuild all of these the next two weeks and a local shop to get parts from but I have been to sick recently to remove the parts in time for the classes.
    Thanks

I have a new spare Mondial starter in a box. I will let you know the part number when I get home.

I thought there was a Japanese alternator on the later T's?

That could be but the early T's used Delcos.

that's correct - the ND upgrade was later, and worth doing anyway.

What is the ND upgrade and are you talking alternators, starters or both? I am in the market for a replacement starter for my T which resist starting when hot but starts strong when cold.

Thanks for the feedback. These numbers will help when I get around to rebuilding these parts. Turns out, the noise that I thought was the alternator is from the "compressor"

I see 3000.00 versions of the compressor but it appears to be a standard part that is available elsewhere for 250 or so. Would this be a match or is there something special about the overpriced versions?

    Cheers
    Dave

We are talking alternators. The later mondials (mine is Oct 1990) have Nippon Denso alternators. The upgrade is worth it because they are more robust than the Delco.
