Wow! I didn't see any woman in a Corvette, and I was there the better part of the afternoon.

I was at FoNE in the am and I'm glad I missed this.

Races 'vettes for a living? Maybe it was Chevettes.

    Luckily no deaths.

Ferrari is very careful about selling cars to people who want to flip them. It seems that she may have disqualified herself.

There is little to no truth in this news story...sensationalism at its worst.

The driver of the corvette visited us with her friend (who was driving an older Toyota). They have been in from time to time to admire our cars. They are (and were) very respectful. They are not buyers, nor did they ask to test drive anything. The woman in the toyota left first, followed by the woman in the corvette. The woman in the corvette left from the furthest entrance (North) and accelerated very quickly, losing control of her car. She went sideways, caught the curb in front of the 'Jake and Joes' restaurant, got airborn and upside down. She did damage to a few vehicles in the 'Jake and Joes' parking lot. She was removed from her corvette, and was moving her arms and legs freely. She was taken to the local hospital via ambulance.

I do not know her current condition (we wish her good health...and slower future automotive endeavors), but everyone involved is quite fortunate.

    Phil,

Long time no talk...hope all is well. The story you refer to is truly incredible...and to think that all of that damaged occurred as the Ferrari was overtaking the Prius!

David.. yes doing well. The 308 still runs as smooth as silk attesting to your skill in sorting it out. I take it to work at least once a week, more during the warmer weather. And the TR knock on wood, has been great also.
I've got a small piece of garage/wall art that I'm sending you.
The driver that caused the wreck must have been intimidated by the Prius
    Have a nice holiday .
