Sergiy, If you accepted the money, whether or not you made or "sold" the product, you're part of the transaction and liable. Just to add to this: When Dan was not replying to any of my emails or calls, I contacted Sergiy via this site to see if I could get help through him. He replied, asked my info, but I never heard from him again, so I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling about his great customer support effort. The general take away from all this is: DON'T DO BUISNESS WITH STEBRO. Even though a few of us had good transactions it's a total crap shoot whether you get screwed or not. It's not worth it to deal with them.

I too was a previously satisfied Stebro customer. I got a good 330 GTC system from them a decade ago. I innocently ordered a Daytona system from them in January and it has now been over ten months and Stebro has yet to deliver the front pipes. It may be fine to make this thread a sticky, but it important to keep the thread going to either warn others of Stebro, or perhaps one day acknowledge they have finally gotten their act together. It is also very important to keep the thread going so that when someone Googles Stebro our FChat link comes up on the Google page as high as possible. This is important consumer information.
It is a shame there are so many complaints about Stebro. Way too many people really unhappy with their service. If I would have known about all the complaints I probably wouldn't have bought there either. What a shame. The product used to be top notch. I really like my headers. Maybe somebody should buy the company and make it right.
I would like for Stebro to be successful, provide a good product, and have excellent customer service. Hopefully this thread will help motivate Stebro to do just that.

I have to agree with you on this one. The problems go back far enough that I don't see things changing anytime soon. I wonder if they treat all their customers the same. They have branched out and make systems for all kinds of makes and models including modern day American muscle cars. I wonder if the volume of "exotic" systems is so low they just decided to put them on the back burner and not care anymore? Who knows? Either way I agree with the suggestion to make this a sticky. Or maybe we should start a "beware of..." sticky thread?
Agreed, you should start a BEWARE NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH STEBRO sticky. They do not have any integrity or honesty, and that is paying them a compliment on this site. I would not want to be associated(as a customer or to refer people to Stebro) with the owner or any affiliated parties with Stebro since they do not honor or do what they say or promise. This has been my experience and I still have my USELESS X-PIPE for my 04 575, sitting in the corner in the "NFG" pile. I was promised a refund(from Dan) for a useless piece of metal and have yet to see a cent. When a company decides to be in business, and claims to make a good product; they should have no reason not to stand behind their service, quality or make good what they screwed up. They would be best to close their business and save face. The owner must not have a shread of honesty or integrity??..........all of his actions/inactions speaks for itself. I would not be able to charge in advance for my construction services I provide for my clients. I am confident to invoice and receive my money after all the work has been completed satisfactorily. I have not had an issue in or non payment in over 28 years in business. Stebro, quit while you may be slightly ahead...........................

Hey Sergiy, you should buy Stebro Ltd. ! Go around Ottawa and talk to the car dealerships, parts suppliers, and car clubs to see if you can find some venture capitalists. Or perhaps just try and get a small business loan and buy Dan out. Just think, you could be the savior of this 55-year-old institution! I can see you have the passion and drive to turn Stebro around. And EVERYONE on this thread would agree that youd do a better job of managing the company than Mr. Petschenig. Oh, did you find out when Dan is going to ship the missing front pipes from my order #13302?
I had troubles with Dan and Stebro since 2002. Well documented here. A leopard doesn't change its spots. They are bad news and a pox on them I say.
I am going to jump on the pile myself and express my disapointment with Stebro. I ordered a muffler, reonators and transfer pipes for a Maserati Bora back in June from Dan and at the time was told the parts were on the self and would ship as soon as payment arrived. Well the check was sent and cashed and surprise no parts so after countless e-mails and phone calls I finally received a one line e-mail response in Sept with a tracking number. The package arrived containing the muffler but missing the remaining four items, when I called Dan to ask WTF he advised me that it was coming in a second box which was shipped at the same time. Now of course it is another 4 months later and no parts or refunds just countless promises of a tracking number. Being that I am in the vintage car business I have heard about Stebro's lack of customer service before but I was unable to locate the resonators for the Bora anywhere else and based upon Dan's word that they were on the shelf ready to go I risked it. What a joke this place is, my customer has been very understanding with the amount of time it has taken to get a very simple repair done but I hope no other car owners are ever put through this again. I have given Dan every opportunity to resolve this matter without going public but now I feel he has left no other option. Whether I ever receive my parts or a refund is besides the point I will do my best to inform eveyone I know in the business as both owners and shop owners to never do business with these people. Thanks Bubba, I may take you up on that by my customer was really hoping to get a nice sounding and looking Stainless system and after lots of looking around Stebro had the one he wanted. We just missed buying a system from a guy on EBay so that's how I got stuck buying one from Stebro. I've already spilled a lot of blood taking the old stick US headers off and putting on the Stainless replacement headers which got rid of a mysterious whistle that the previous shop had been chasing. I just want what I paid for from Stebro or at least a refund. Let me know if you see anything from Ansa Zac
