How fortunate to see a GTO while running erands.

I sure hope that GTO cleared the wheel stop in the front? It looks as if it scraping the wheel stop.

 

ouch...too close for comfort over that parking lot stub. hopefully he didn't scrape anything

Unfortunately, judging by the location and recent factory-customizing announcements I think it's authentic Ferrari.

I would very much doubt those mods are factory issue.

The 599XX is a much better looking car than the 599GTO - despite the GTO looking very different to the GTB (just park them side-by-side), the GTO doesn't have the very agressive stance of the XX. On the racecar the slim mirror stalks and the winglets look the part - but not on the road car IMHO

 

Front Fender Vents are certainly not 599 XX but standard to the GTO. Winglets ... if they are not OEM then they are very well copied but as cesman said ... they work well on the XX because they are complimentary to the more aggressive bodywork of the XX. Hence why they kind of look out of place on the GTO. My 0.02

As to the paint job ... clear example that we all have different taste

As to the front fender vents ... I stand corrected. In my previous post I mentioned that these are standard to the GTO but that's incorrect. I thought Stefan_009 was alluding to the front splitter. Come to look at the fenders with vents ... looks very much like the ones on the XX.

 

I must say I do like the vents in the fenders.....

 

I tend to agree nads and I remember asking Ferrari if this would be possible to put on my GTO when I specced my car at the Atelier last year in March. The answer was ... NO!!!!!! I guess times have changed.

 

i seen that exact car when i was in italy, its actually quite awesome and extremely desirable.
its created by Zanasi, if u dont know him or what his relationship with ferrari, dont ask dont tell.
he makes dreams come true and most dirty jobs from the factory are created by them and u be surprised what they can do or are already casually doing for u.
but again, dont tell dont ask.
