Some awfully good nominations so far!

I would like to nominate Shamile

I understand that he's extremely helpful in the TR section, I don't think I've ever seen him get upset at someone, even when they're giving him a hard time - he just brushes it all off - and I don't think I've ever seen him make a negative or critical post... ever.

I think it's a shame that Shamile doesn't get the credit he deserves...he's done some great DIY technical threads, but people only see Britney (19) and Kasey (21).

Yes - his knowledge research & help must make owning a modern(ish) V12 a much less scarey proposition

I second your vote for Tazandjan for his knowledge and keenness to help others in v12 threads.

In the same way I would nominate Rick lederman, or Malibuguy for their contributions to the California thread.

Oh, okay, cool! In that case, I stand by my suggestion; but still also think toggie and newman should be candidates (as well as Steve Magnusson as someone else already suggested). Can't you do more than one? Perhaps these guys don't contribute so much in the subscribed (translate: goof off) areas (except for toggie - he's always in the sandbox), but they're staples in the Ferrari sections, and this is, after all, a Ferrari forum.

I have to say Im not as involved as I like to be.... but Bdelp and Big Tex are both some of the nicest people and friendliest people I have come across, although there arent many people on here I dont get along with or at least respect!

Since I havn't been in dialogue or discussion with many (leave aside politics) and I hardly 'know' anyone, my list would have been from reading and learning (and taking my hat off):

    Jim
    Marcel
    Ed

But since these already are what they are, it'll be just for the moment:

Joe Sackey (sponsor, I know, but I don't care...)
    bdelp
    Jeff Kennedy
    wbaeumer
    kare
    Boudewijn

And for sure it would have been branko (elmotorizado), if he wouldn't have passed away. He was an aficionado in the best sense.

bdelp is always a class act. He will always puts an effort in replying to newbies regarding the usual finance/maintenance questions. He's always around, always posting, but the quality average is quite high. Just like Jedi, he never seems to be fighting with anyone. He is never an elitist about the Ferrari ownership, which is the very basis of a good Ferrari enthusiast IMHO. Of all the American Fchatters, if I ever visit United States, I would like to meet him the most.

He's a brilliant ambassador for FerrariChat, not the slightest doubt in my mind.

AceMaster is a close second, maybe if I remember this in next years poll, my vote will go for him. His enthusiasm shines through, and he's always there to help out.

I also would loved to nominate Napolis for sharing his big adventures with us, but he's made of the stuff of Legends, and everyone knows who he is and what he's good for. Plus, he already has the pretty prestige heavy Honorary title, which I place higher than Lifetime Rossa.

I agree with every nominee on this list.

But I vote for Bernardo66 because he's posted the most "hot babes with Ferrari's" as anyone else. I think it's his hobby to look for these all day!

It's my favorite thread. I can't get enough of 1) hot babes and 2) Ferrari's. If you toss in some good pasta, I'm in heaven. :)

WOW!!! I am seriously honored by this post. I saw the thread and started thinking of all the great people here and how much people have done for me. I never would have considered myself to be in that league. Thank you.

My nominee would be Big Tex - as he has ALWAYS been helpful when I have asked him questions and was a major guiding force in my decision to go with a QV when I got my 308.

I would also like to second the nominations of Jerry (Anunnaki) and BDelp. Both are excellent Ambassadors for FChat.

    My votes go to:

AceMaster: Mike is, well, THE BEST. He is always helpful, courteous, enthusiastic, and welcoming. He truly cares about FChat and its' members, and is active in a variety of forums. Always the voice of reason, I've never seen him be abusive or intentionally argumentative, even in P&R topics which have a personal connection. IMHO, he is the personification of fairness. Frankly, it amazes me that Mike has not been made a Moderator long ago.

DaveHelms: ...And on the eight day, God created Dave Helms. Any other words would be a mere understatement.

Bdelp and BigTex are also amazing members and should be recognized, but I am reluctant to list too many individuals.

I made an error in my previous post and would to add an additional FChat member.

Specifically UroTrash, whom I erroneously thought was both a Consultant AND Moderator. I don't know about others, but to me a day without Dean-O is like a day with Prostate CA with a summed Gleason grade of 10 (I thought you'd like my analogy Dean :)).

I think BDelp has done a lot of goodwill work for Fchat, hosting multiple events in the last year.

I vote for tax Dr. ,although the others listed deserve it also, I just like his style letting others be involved in his passion. I have also let others drive/ride in my 328 and it gives me pleasure in showing others the experience. I would have given my right arm to ride/drive in a Ferrari before I got mine so I let others experience it as often as I can. I just don't have and Enzo like he does.

I'll go with him as well. He never writes a bad post. Level headed, voice of reason and uses his valuable leisure time to host others and makes sure everyone has a good time. Love to meet him someday.
