Hi Guys How do you remove the rear bumper off a 3.2 Mondial and is it easy, need to get mine painted due too kissing a brick wall with it. Thanks Neil.
Hi Neil, Did you get that answer for removing your Mondial rear bumper. I am working on one now and have the same problem.....getting to the side nuts on the bumper. Thanks, Tim
Never taken one off myself, I can't help much but I have researched diagrams for my 3.2 that I keep in a big book. From the assembly diagrams, maybe these will help you identify bolt points. Good luck. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great help! I'm planning on taking my bumper to the body shop in a month or two... if y'all are patient enough I'll post up pics when it happens.
Generally the 308, 328, 348, 355, 360 rear bumpers are easy to get off. With the Mondial T Coupe that we are cosmetically restoring, I can't seem to get to the nuts that hold the sides to the frame.......I can see them but there isn't a way to loosen them. I will continue to work on this and let you know. Take a look at my website if you have a few minutes. We have done some pretty good work I think. Thanks to all! Tim www.tgrestorations.com

Removing the rear bumper on a Mondial is a bit different than a 355 B or S. The Mondial doesn't have the side bolts/nuts that one would find on the 355 models. Removing the 4 bolts on the bracket that holds the bumper to the frame is the necessary part. The bumper then slides backward easily. It is reassembled by gently pushing it back on and using the guides that are on the inside of the bumper (on each side) as markers for a correct horizontal fitting and then tightening the 4 bolts to the frame. A second person might be able to help hold it in that horizontal position white the bolts are being tightened. It is overall an easy process and thanks to the Bradan guys for advising me how to do this. Tim
