    Yellowcab,

With respect to Tubi exhaust, would you know how to make them louder.

When I had my 1989 348 I had a few initial problems (fuse box meltdown, a/c compressor leak, door jamb wiring breaks), but after fixing those, I was problem free for about four years and 7,000 miles. My total cost of ownership was fairly low at around $12k for just under five years with a little more than half of the cost as depreciation on sale. Attached is my favorite pic after a weekend long Zaino detailing session.

Edit: I do remember having the alternator rebuilt for $80 or so in the last year I owned it.

That picture of your car is still my desktop... I find it inspiring. :D

Actually, you sent it to me when you were selling it and I was still in single figure posts, so it has been my desktop for a couple of years now. :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

The sunlight was just right, and the car was spectacularly shiny that day. I took the pic with a relatively cheap point and shoot Minolta camera! 3.2 mp and I had it blown up to 20x30 at Costco, and it looks sharp on that size as well.

I think the universe is trying to tell you that the drivers seat of the 348 is the place for you. ;) :D

    All the best,

I agree! Hopefully I will fulfill that in the not too distant future. I have some things to deal with first that will probably take 2-3 years.
