Did the odomoter read in kilometers or miles in 1999 (US model)?
    Thanks for your help.

It is closest to miles but it is way, way off.

It is so far off (high), you'd almost think it was in kilometers (1.6 kilometers in a mile). I can't remember what I calculated mine to be.. maybe 1.15X or 1.2X miles or something?

I have always been told miles on my 1999, but I have found the same thing Five says - it is way, way off and clicks miles much earlier than expected, based on an informal run against highway marker miles. I have been meaning for a long time to take it out with a handheld GPS and check it, but it is definitely terribly inaccurate if it is indeed miles.

The issue isn't just with the odo but the whole speedo and it also isn't limited to speedometers in miles. The point is that ALL Diablo speedos (including their odometers) are off - typically around 10%.

Mick is correct, but not only with the Diablo's, almost all cars produced by Lambo are in the 8-10% off, including my 2010 LP670-4SV...

AND since their production numbers are under the 5000 mark, they are not required to be with in the 3% margin as required by Federal Law. SOme may recall the class action lawsuit a few years back against Honda, when their cars were reading n the in-accurate range of 6%.
