Just got my lower spoiler completely refinished at Classic Coach in NJ one week ago.

Today I was out for a nice drive when "Rocky" the squirrel decided to cross the street and pick a fight. Well....Ferrari vs. Squirrel....Ferrari wins but not before Rocky got in a nice shot.

This thread needs a new title, Ferraris and wildlife.

    Could replace Sandy Eggo...

I recently had a rabbit run in front of my Aston Martin Vantage and took out the front lip. I cursed the little B@@@ as I tired to counter his middle of the road weave and avoid the side of the road and the rabbit

Sorry about the spoiler, although the squirrel got the worst end of the deal.

I hit what I swear was the biggest possum on earth with my Audi last year. Tried to straddle him, no luck. There is a small "splitter" in the front of the car which vanished. The next morning the carcass was in two pieces on a popular stretch of road. It was thoroughly nasty, people were actually talking about it.

I hit a squirrel with my 355 also and it cracked the front bumper too. So far, never hit a deer...

Many years ago I came over a blind hill at 30mph in a Mazda 626 only to have a mid-sized dog find itself under the car. No damage to the car. It was a sickening experience.

I had a deer do a standing broad jump over a Ford Contour on a road I was doing 25mph on. Deer made it unscathed, the Ford had a small hoof ding & scuff in the roof. Amazing.

I had a black bird think it could out-race my 308. Bird caught the front hood & cartwheeled over the windshield & roof. I never did find out if he was one of the four-and-twenty black birds.

Well, the insurance adjuster is coming out today for the car. The total damage was a cracked spoiler and some decent chips in the paint on the bumper. I will be curious to see what they are willing to cover and/or pay to have this stuff fixed. Probably not enough.
