What a drive! I hadn't driven my CS lately, so when there's an apportunity I dont mind driving to see you all again. Eric, you are an awesome driver, I had a hard time following you. That was fun. Thanks
Fun time! It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I very much enjoyed the variety of Ferraris we had on the drive. It was awesome driving near the back listening to all those wonderful Ferrari sounds! Musc to my ears! Looking forward to th next run. Cheers and happy holidays! DL
the ferrari owners club in san diego has approx. 130 members and we try to plan some sort of activity every month. you can check out the web site focsandiego.com for current events, also we have a meeting the first thursday of every month, new members are welcome to attend. contact us if you would like more info.
Hey Scott- Count me in and let me know how I can help put together a drive in your area. I'd be happy to pre-run, work on route instructions - whatever is needed. Being semi-retired I've got free time to do that stuff. Should we throw out a date and ask for responses?. I think we could look at the long range weather predictions and maybe pick a day mid to late January or early February. What do you think? Anyone else have date suggestions? Steve
A couple of us meet up every week or two for a drive. Usually it is Sundays at 9:00am. Send me a PM if you'd like to meet up. If anyone else is interested, please PM me and I can do a mail list for the informal meetups. We meet in San Marcos.
Thanks to all who joined the 'Just Drive It' e-mail group dedicated to keeping our cars happy and satisfy our need to 'Just Drive It'. I sent out details of the upcoming drive. If you want to be included in the e-mail group, please send me a PM with your e-mail address in order to be added. I'll then send details of this Sunday's drive. If you have requested to be in the e-mail group and haven't received the e-mail, please let me know.
Vas, thanks for setting up the 'Just Drive It' group! To all the guys looking for something to do, you are missing out if you don't PM 355rockit and get on the email list for these drives. What a great way to spend a Sunday morning!
Only reason I missed it was because I was camping all weekend in Jamul/Campo area. I was in my Xterra which was full of gear, and all I could think about when I was driving the back country roads was how fun it would be to drive my Ferrari there! Vas, I hope to make the next one. Cheers, DL
The 'Just Drive It' group has really grown in less than a week. Just a reminder that if you PM me to be added, please provide your e-mail address where you would like to get the notifications of the drives.
Too bad notbing will be going on during the week. Ill be driving the car down in the area from Tue (10th) to Thur (12th). Will see one "Ferrari" buddy tbough. Sent from my MB860 using Tapatalk
Vas, nice job picking up the ball. Between you and Eric we should all have a filled calendar for our driving needs in 2012. Let me know and we can use Cavallo as a starting point or we could end there for a BBQ. I'm good either way. Let me know what you think. Let's drive em' like we stole them.
Sorry I missed you guys this morning. Anything set up for next weekend? I'm in SD all weekend.. Took a nice ride to La Jolla today, was cold, but fun!!! Ry

Thanks for posting your videos Don - terrific stuff, great roads. I just can't get enough of the sound of your Scud!
Don, such great videos.. didn't even know you were recording. Its really interesting to see my mondial in front of you, gives me perspective to me picking my lines on the corners and that I have a tendency to go wide...!!
