San Diego owners and events?

What a drive! I hadn't driven my CS lately, so when there's an apportunity I dont mind driving to see you all again. Eric, you are an awesome driver, I had a hard time following you. That was fun. Thanks

 

Fun time! It was a pleasure meeting all of you. I very much enjoyed the variety of Ferraris we had on the drive. It was awesome driving near the back listening to all those wonderful Ferrari sounds! Musc to my ears!

the ferrari owners club in san diego has approx. 130 members and we try to plan some sort of activity every month. you can check out the web site focsandiego.com for current events, also we have a meeting the first thursday of every month, new members are welcome to attend. contact us if you would like more info.

Count me in and let me know how I can help put together a drive in your area. I'd be happy to pre-run, work on route instructions - whatever is needed. Being semi-retired I've got free time to do that stuff. Should we throw out a date and ask for responses?. I think we could look at the long range weather predictions and maybe pick a day mid to late January or early February.

What do you think? Anyone else have date suggestions?

Is anything happening in Oceanside? I just move here about a week ago.

 

A couple of us meet up every week or two for a drive. Usually it is Sundays at 9:00am. Send me a PM if you'd like to meet up. If anyone else is interested, please PM me and I can do a mail list for the informal meetups. We meet in San Marcos.

Only reason I missed it was because I was camping all weekend in Jamul/Campo area. I was in my Xterra which was full of gear, and all I could think about when I was driving the back country roads was how fun it would be to drive my Ferrari there!

Vas, nice job picking up the ball. Between you and Eric we should all have a filled calendar for our driving needs in 2012. Let me know and we can use Cavallo as a starting point or we could end there for a BBQ. I'm good either way. Let me know what you think. Let's drive em' like we stole them.
