348 spider project

Hi All,

After a lot of looking around and asking a lot of questions; I starting my own thread on my 348 spider.

Of course the vehicle has to be 100% technically and cosmetically. First the vehicle was a electrical nightmare. The alarm was crap and there were wrong relais in the fusebox etc etc. So an upgrade to gold-connector was on my wishlist, but since I am an automotive engineer (OEM) I even wanted to upgrade that. The alarm was removed and a new battery was fitted. The headlights were replaced by brand new ones, also the tires needed replacement..(the usual stuff). Since the wheels were removed from the car the wheels could be referbished and the hubs too.

Engine replaced:

- O2 sensors
- MAF sensors
- crankangle sensors
- spark plugs
- filters (oil, air,fuel)
- timing belt

Interior

- New leather seats (was vandalism on the seats)

Exterior

- New headlights
- Refirbished wheels and new tires
- New wiper blades
- New battery

Sure will have missed a lot.

But there is the project O2-sensor replacement and upgrade (see photo's)
