    Hi, I'm looking to PPI a 2000 360 F1.

What should I expect for an average PPI price from a dealer versus independent Ferrari shop?

I was quoted somewhere between $800 to $1,000, for a full-day's work, end-to-end, including a compression test by an independent Ferrari shop. I won't disclose its name out of respect / privacy.

Your opinions would be much appreciated.

    Thanks, and happy holidays!

Back in 2006 FCI quoted me $700 for a PPI on a F355 GTB.

How many miles are on the engine; does it really need a leak down test?

From my experience the prices quoted are ridiculous; I've never paid that much for a PPI!

    Where is the car located?

I pay $200 max for a compression test. That is all I need to make up my mind.

Algar Ferrari charged the guy who bought my car MUCH less than that.
