I saw this car yesterday in Scottsdale.

Guy was driving like a maniac, but the car sounded fantastic.

 

I thought a white one. Ive never seen in person or in videos about a red 458 oakley design. Its pretty cool though. I WANT IT!!!

 

How does adding CF on top of other panels save weight?

 

It's all about the look and style. It's called Oakley Design, not Oakley performance.
I think they just wanted to make a cool car not a lightweight car. Their thought process was probably: throw some cool carbon bits on there and beef up the engine and you have a cool car

 

i talked to jon before, as far as i know hes more focus on the downforce of the car, some parts are lighter and add some for front lip and rear spoiler for the downforce.
