I believe he owns the Steve McQueen 275 GTB/4. My understanding is that it was converted to a Spider by a previous owner after McQueen had the car but it is now being returned to coupe form due to the McQueen provenance. Not sure how accurate the information is but comes from a reliable source. Also has/had the 750 Monza.
Various in the current register:195x Ray Helm,212barchetta(rebody),212Inter,250 Cab,2x250SWB,3xLusso,Various 275GTB,750 Monza(owner mentioned already,156/85FI.
agree with the 212,although its re-body,2 x250swbs,212 inter and the Monza.Plus the odd alloy body/4 cam 275.
example to compare would be a vintage ghost to a veteran or a S3 Flying Spur to a R-type Conti IMO of course.
I've been very well thanks RB, how you going? No plans for OZ for a while yet, keeping focused on things over here for the time being. That said if I can find an excuse I would love to come over and hang out again, even if I can only spare a couple of days.
Come to NZ and hang out with me, got a spare room set up, welcome for as long as you can put up with me! Great to hear health is good, and Terry is well, he must be getting on in years now! Hows that Jag? fixed the exhaust yet?!
Terry is 15 in Feb. Exhaust is all fixed, went away from the slip pipe to a welded pipe where it would drop from the headers. Amanda and I like the idea of NZ,I've still got about 75% of the Makers mark,I should drink it more, great drink.
Haha, hope it gets better with age!! (I brought a bottle on the way back and its still got a drink or 2 in it My offer is serious, feel free to take me up on it....
N0 .I'm saying that it would be like comparing the above ,like a 250cab to say a 250SWB.Not bitter at all,I speak my mind,if people don't like it,thats life.
