I believe this is a Mansory Ferrari 458 Italia Siracusa.

Modifications RARELY add value to a cars price, in some cases it actually devalues the car. So the real question is what is this car worth to you? Its not my taste personally, so to me all that stuff devalues the car. But its not me and if you like the car think about if you were to buy a stock 458 and planned on doing all that obviously it'd cost you quite a bit in parts and labor. So should the seller be rewarded for it or not, some people add all that up and think they will get there money back for aftermarket parts, however it rarely is the case. I'd say offer MSRP if you really want it, as that car is highly modified on the outside and very sparse on the inside for options.

That's a bit harsh, and it's not something that I would get, but beauty is in.........Most likely, someone thinks that my spec would not be to their tastes either. That doesn't make it bad.

There is a reason that aftermarket companies exist: for just the right customer. If you are that customer, grab it.

My sense is that the dealership that is selling it most likely did not pay a premium for the car, using the argument that these mods appeal to a very narrow niche market. I agree that MSRP should be your line in the sand. There are other modded cars out there.

Exactly my point, instead of doing the parts and labor myself I can purchase this one with the mods for MSRP, eliminating the costs of the mods. That sounds like a sweet deal to me. Thanks for the advice, now it's time to give this guy a call.

I would rather dive the car from Knight Rider....

If it was Red/Black it would be perfect in my opinion. The red/beige isn't my style...

You are correct. It has been out/around since March of this year.

    It also has 590hp.

Most of the additional items on the 458 I do not care for, it seems as if it is trying to compete with the lambo aventador, however, I "do" think the rear of this car looks better than the 458 stock rear. I also like the 590hp :)

I am not sure what this re-make is worth, but I am sure it is more than MSRP.

It would be worth $290k if it was original. Now I think just less than 200 in my book but I'm sure the owner disagrees.

What's it worth? What you want to spend for it. Personally I'd low ball it because few will want it like that.

REALLY? So let me get this straight...290 original...mods...now worth 200? Care to explain beyond "few will want it"?

The politically correct phrase to use is that the car is very unique. The average ferrari owner will not find the modifications to their taste or liking so they would pass on this car. Thus the seller would have a hard time selling this to most ferrari buyers. But there will always be a select few that will like the car and want it.

Agreed. I wish people would respect the philosophy of the designer and leave the exterior of the car alone. But ok, to each his own. It's not my money.

I think the responses here speak pretty well to that. Taking a 458 and making it look like a kit car on a Fiero is not everyone's cup of tea. But if it's your cup of tea what do you care what others think?

But, look at the bright spot -- you probably can get something you like on the cheap. That car will sit around a while I assure you.

This car makes a "statement" which means some will love it and imo most will hate it.

If you are in the former category, keep in mind that dealers will sell a "ordered" car for MSRP and are asking above MSRP for "immeidate" availability of used car.

In this case, if it were me, and given this car imo fits a "nitch" market, I would offer "under MSRP" and tell them to call you when they want to discuss final price. You may lose the car but if not one fits the nitch you may get a call. On the other hand, if money is not that important and you love the car, seldom does someone regret what they have done as much as passing up something they "wish" they had.

    Good luck

Mansory mods are not cheap. If you like it, offer MSRP and be prepared to pay more. If you like it, get it. Good luck

I personally like it. Why? Because it's unique and more rarer. If I were to buy it, I will not really think what others will say about the car. I know when I drove this in the road, people will surely turn their heads on just to have a glance on the car.

The thing is, if you are happy and satisfied with that car then go on. People's likes/tastes doesn't matter as you cannot please all of them. People have different tastes too.

Not my cup of tea but it's surely worth much more than $200k. Someone please let us know what it finally sells for.

Because it would cost 90k to get it back to its normal design.
Jus a couple pennies added to the pot but hey, I had a mid life crisis and was 21 once, take your pick....

But I agree, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.....
