It is a little ways away from me but I'm sure there would be some Fchatter in Tacoma that would be willing to take a look at it in person if you got to the point of being seriously interested. I don't know any background on the car but have never personally seen it on my Seattle F355 radar over the past 5 years.

I was on the same track as you - 1995 355 GTB - until this stupid little black SS showed up on eBay. And the rest, as they say, is history!

 

That Black on Black 355GTB in the NW has been on sale for almost 2 years. I still the ad up and down the west coast for the same car. There must be a story on it, and I am afraid I am not interested enough to find out what that is.

 

Are you sure this is the one? There is another black F355 located in Portland, Oregon; which has been in the market for few years now.

One has the challenge grill (this one) and the one from Portland, OR has the non-challenge grill.

 

Different car. I know the one you are talking about. It has been for sale for more than 2 years. Word on NW section of Fchat is that it has damage history and many years overdue for a major. The car I posted above I know very little about.

 

and you just missed a red/tan 95 355 sold out of Bellevue with 40K miles. Nice car if you don't mind the miles.

 

You know Rosso is red right? Corsa is race (racing). You said you'd take black or red (anything but racing). I assume you meant that you don't want red (which is the best color for a Ferrari).

So 2353 miles per year means a car that's driven too much?!?!? When will people learn that a car can't stay under 20,000 miles forever?

That one was at Park Plack Ltd and they were asking $54,950 for it. I talked to a few on Fchat who were interested in it and one person that saw it in person said it had typical rust on the sills and bubbling paint on one side view mirror base. It had a major year and a half ago and was a 6speed 95 GTB red/tan. Sounded like it was a solid car from the information available. Good to hear it sold. Good sign that solid cars are moving.

Yes, that is the one. I don't know what the story is behind that thing. And I am not into black/black or I might have at least given it a good look.

Regarding the 40K miles, I don't mind. But other people do and there was a discussion about how much value the car would lose once it passes 40,000 miles. For me, does not matter. I drive them as much as I can, but with family, kids, and a traveling job, i don't get to put that many miles on my cars. When i am home on the weekend, it is the wife's lexus that gets driven more because of its size.

 

This car was for sale when I was looking, about 5 years ago. I think it has either an accident or salvage title, not sure which.

My friend is selling his 95 Rosso Barchetta with a bunch of work done to it. Search
for "giant killer ferrari" on youtube. He just picked it up from the dealer its had
a full engine rebuild, 60k+ worth of work and wants to move on. This thing outruns
360s and 430s, runs 2-3 car lengths ahead of my car when at the top of 3rd when
we dice.
